Fallgrapp at Pohoda 2017
The band Fallgrapp started very successfully. For their debut Rieka, they received four Radio_Head Awards statuettes. Original video clips, ambient electronics with distinctive strands, intriguing layered arrangements, and harmonious diversity have instantly won many fans. Oliver Rehak of Denník N called their second album V Hmle a “pop music for adults”. The band will perform at Pohoda with many well-known guests on this album.

Fallgrapp have been on the Slovak stage since 2012 and have released two albums. Their debut Rieka has received four Radiohead Awards 2014 (for Album, Single, Debut, and the awards in the Electronic Music category). On 20 March, they released album V hmle. The notable novelty is that the album does not contain female voices only anymore. The song Dym with guest Juraj Benetin was nominated for the Single of the Year at the Radio_Head Awards. The precise sound of the albums is brought on stage thanks to eight members of the ensemble consisting of 3 violins, a sampler, drums, a guitar, percussions, a synthesizer, and vocals. The resulting sound has the features of these genres: downtempo, trip hop, instrumental electronica, and alternative pop. Portal Hudba.sk wrote about their spring tour: “Fallgrappʼs stunning performances simply belong among the strongest experience in the clubs today”. We would like to precize, that it is not just clubs. Fallgrapp will convince you of their qualities also at Pohoda 2017.
