Etgar Keret at Pohoda 2017

Pohoda 2017 will host also the Israeli writer and screenwriter Etgar Keret, who is known for his unique black humour and up-to-date stories. Abroad, his books have been translated into 31 languages and many have become best sellers. In addition to many literary awards, he has been awarded Camera d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his directorial debut Jellyfish. In the Slovak language, his collections of short stories have been published: Suddenly, a Knock on the Door (2012) and Seven Good Years (2014). Etgar Keret was supposed to come to Pohoda already in 2014, but due to the worsened security situation in Israel he did not appear. During his exclusive visit to Pohoda, he will present his new collection of short stories he has compiled specifically for Artforum. By the way, the name of the new collection is being voted for by the readers. You can join them at this link: https://goo.gl/forms/0Io0u5SYQUewx8943
