Bo Ningen – Japanese acid punk on the banks of the river Thames
What happens when musicians from the land of the rising sun settle in a country where sunlight is almost always engulfed by fog?

The answer in music, rather than words, is offered up by the psychedelic rock and acid punk of Bo Ningen. At first sight they look like hipsters or a retro hippie quartet, but they certainly won’t serve up meadow honey or beansprouts! They will however hit you with reverb-drenched vocals, pounding beats, screaming guitars and hypnotic bass riffs. Bo Ningen’s sound may be British but their lyrics are Japanese; and even if their live shows bring to mind the wild, flying hair of the 1970s, they claim they are a true vanguard for the future. In any case we highly recommend not to forget to drink enough during their show.
