Let's Not Forget the War: Launch of the Photobook UKRAINE 24/02/22 –
They don't go to Ukraine for sensational pictures. The purpose of each reporting trip is to document Russia's war crimes and to highlight the strength and dignity with which Ukrainians have resisted the Russian army. Photojournalists Tomáš Benedikovič, Gabriel Kuchta, Juraj Mravec, Pavol Pekarčík, and Vladimír Šimíček have witnessed the reality of war firsthand. Moreover, they have captured it. For all of us.
To ensure that the images of this war are never forgotten, they collaborated with Absynt publishing house to create the unique photobook Ukraine 24/02/22 – preserving the memory of this conflict. Oliver Rehák will discuss it with them at Pohoda.
(The photobook will be available for purchase during the discussion. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to humanitarian aid for the city of Kharkiv.)
