The drumnbass & pop project Meowlau x Val emerged onto the local scene in 2022 with their debut EP Nevermind. In just a few years, they established themselves as a formidable presence, consistently delivering impressive releases. Their second EP, Daydream, released in 2023, featured collaborations with Jureš from Fallgrapp, FVLCRVM, and Subtension. They also represented Slovakia at Eurosonic, Europe's largest showcase festival, in January.
The female duo Meowlau (Laura Jašková) and Val (Valentina Vlková) are accompanied by drummer and master of live beats Vladoš Paška.
