Marek Torčík: On the Importance of Memories
Marek Torčík, a recent winner of the Magnesia Litera Prize for Prose, has garnered attention in his home country as well as in ours with his debut prose work “Rozložíš paměť” (Memory Burn). Fans of Slovak literature may recognise him from the Básne Competition, where he was one of the ten finalists in 2018 and 2020. Slovak author Marek Hudec will interview him.
