The exceptional singer-songwriter Katarzia is set to appear at Pohoda 2025 with her full band, accompanied by a visual projection from Czech-Icelandic artist DVDJ NNS. We can look forward to a mix of her most iconic songs alongside brand-new material.
Slovak singer, lyricist, and composer Katarzia wrote her first song at just 16. Since then, she has released six studio albums and composed music for TV series and theatrical productions, including the play Antigona, which earned her and Jonatán Pastirčák the 2018 Dosky Award. Her voice has also been featured on collaborations with artists like Vladimir 518, Peneři Strýčka Homeboye, and Modré Hory.
At Pohoda 2025, Katarzia will take to the stage with a band combining electronic elements (Aid Kid) and acoustic instruments (Robin Galia on keyboards, Miloš Klápiště on bass, and Oliver Lipenský on drums), joined by vocalists Simona Hulejová and Erika Rein. The performance will be elevated by bespoke visuals created by Czech-Icelandic artist DVDJ NNS. Lighting, an integral part of the performance, will be managed by Tomáš Košťák.
We can expect a showcase of Katarzia’s past work alongside new songs from her album Rest in Euphoria, which features music composed for the eponymous production by Prague’s Cirk La Putika theatre ensemble.
