How to Teach Children to Read?
Slovak children's reading self-esteem ranks among the lowest in the EU, and book access is also quite limited at home and in schools. How can parents and teachers help children fall in love with books? How can they teach them to read and enjoy books? And what about compulsory reading? Viki Marcinová from The Land of Readers, Katka Koščová, and Palo Hric from The Way Out, who is a finalist for the Teacher of the Year Award, will address these questions.
